Affiliate program terms
=======================

These terms govern the Legalnaut affiliate program, run by **A2Z WEB PTE. LTD.**, 7 Temasek Boulevard, #12-07 Suntec Tower One, Singapore 038987, registration 202614429R ("we", "us"). They apply in addition to the [terms of service](/terms), which cover your Legalnaut account. By applying to the program you accept them.

1. Joining
----------

Anyone aged 18 or over with a Legalnaut account may apply; you do not need any referrals first. We review each application and may decline one without giving a reason. You may promote Legalnaut only once we have approved you.

2. Your link and referrals
--------------------------

Your partner dashboard gives you a personal link. When someone opens it, we store your code in a cookie for 60 days. If they create a Legalnaut account in that time, the account is your referral. The first partner whose link a person opened keeps the referral. Your own accounts, and accounts you create for others, are not referrals.

3. Commission
-------------

You earn 20% of every invoice a referred customer pays us, excluding taxes, for 12 months from the day their account was created. That covers subscriptions and page packs. A payment later refunded or credited back earns nothing, and commission already paid on it is deducted from your next payout. We calculate commission once a month, after the month closes, from our billing records, and those records decide. You earn on months that end after we approved you.

4. Payouts
----------

Once your balance reaches $50, you can request a payout from your dashboard with the payout details we ask for. We pay approved requests in US dollars and issue a commission statement with each payment. You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn where you live, and for the accuracy of the details you give us.

5. How you may promote Legalnaut
--------------------------------

Describe Legalnaut truthfully and only with claims our website makes. Do not:

- bid on "Legalnaut" or its misspellings in paid search, or use our name in a domain, an app or a social account;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or promote us on sites with unlawful or misleading content;
- offer cash back, discounts or incentives we have not agreed in writing;
- present yourself as Legalnaut, our team or our agent, or give legal advice in our name.

Say that you earn a commission wherever the law or the platform requires it.

6. Ending the program
---------------------

You may leave at any time from your dashboard or by writing to contact@legalnaut.com. We may suspend or end your participation, with notice, or at once if you breach these terms, in which case unpaid commission earned through the breach is forfeit. Earned commission that is not affected by a breach is paid out once it reaches the minimum.

7. Changes
----------

We may change these terms or the commission. We will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and a change never reduces commission already earned.

8. Liability and law
--------------------

You take part as an independent contractor; nothing here makes you our employee, agent or partner in law. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the commission paid to you in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
